Pink Parcel Review – February 2016

Welcome to February’s Pink Parcel review, this month sees the introduction of new brands; Lola’s Apothecary, Sass & Belle and Merumaya. The month of love and pancakes – don’t forget the pancakes all of which combine to make the monthly thing bearable!

So in addition to the usual selection of monthly branded essentials -towels or tampons- Pink Parcel also contains a number of goodies to make life a little better.

Fudge Kitchen | Double Trouble Chocolate Fudge

Confession time, you won’t find this in the photo, it didn’t last that long – oops! Made with rich dark and white chocolate this fudge was delicious, I may well be shopping online real soon. RRP £16.00 4 x 175g slices

Merumaya | Melting Cleansing Balm

I do love cleansing balms, but I can honestly say I’m not a huge fan of this one, it feels heavy on my skin, and it leaves a residue no matter how much I rinse. However if you are interested it is formulated with a combination of sweet almond oil, echium oil and antioxidants to nourish, hydrate and refresh skin. Whenever I recieve a sample I always give it another go, I really want to like this product, but it’s just not doing it for me. RRP £15.00 for 100ml

Merumaya | Youth Serum

All is not lost, I really do love this serum, it helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hydrating your skin leaving it velvety soft and looking healthy. Applied in the morning under your make-up gives you a flawless finish, beautiful! RRP £35.50 for 30ml

Aussie | Miracle Moist Conditioner

If you hair is suffering fromthe ravages of the winter weather then look no further than this conditioner from Aussie. Formulated with Macadamia nut oil this conditioner infuses dry and damaged hair with moisture leaving it soft and silky smooth, and it smells amazing. RRP £4.19 for 250ml

Pink Parcel | Lavender-Scented Eye Mask

As an insomniac I know the importance of getting a good nights sleep, and anything that can help me achieve a blissful nights kip is most welcome. It has a delicate lavender aroma which helps calm your mind ready for sleep. RRP £5.99

This revolutionary new product takes away the anxiety of tampon or towel disposal and its environmentally friendly. RRP £1.99

Sass & Belle | Mini Photo Frame

The Pink Parcel team have hand picked these adorable mini photo frames for you to hang on your desk, in your car or in your bedroom – they really are sweet, mine was duck egg blue. RRP £2.50

Sass Intimate | Soothe and Smooth Shave Gel

Your Pink Parcel wouldn’t be complete without their handpicked intimate product, this month sees the introduction of Sass soothe and smooth shave gel which reduces irritation and ingrown hair for a razor bump-free finish. RRP £10.00

Lola’s Apothecary | Rainbows and Whirlwinds Tea

If you enjoy flavoured teas, then this is right up your street, it’s an energising tea with ginseng, gingko, lemongrass and spearmint combined with rose, marigold and cornflower. Personally a nice cup of Yorkshire tea works wonders for me. RRP £10.00 for 20

Lola’s Apothecary | Sweet Lullaby Soothing Body & Massage Oil

Containing lavender, ylang ylang, patchouli, vanilla and sweet or age this oil is perfect for post bath time of pre-bedtime. It has a lovely fragrance but don’t apply too much as it can be overpowering and have the opposite affect. RRP £36.00 for 100ml

As always a nice selection of products from the Pink Parcel team, it’s certainly brightens up the monthly curse – as my nan used to call it. See you next month! To subscribe to Pink Parcel click here.
